Bridal Boutique in Short North Under New Ownership Receives Modern Makeover.
Hip bridal boutique, Big Rock Little Rooster, located in the epicenter of the Short North Arts District was purchased at the beginning of the year by local bridal store maven Lindsay Fork, owner of La Jeune Mariee Collection, La Jeune Mariee Maids and Social Occasions and upscale consignment bridal boutique LuxeRedux Bridal, all located on or near High Street between Downtown Columbus and Worthington. "I've always admired the more modern, eclectic appeal of Big Rock and couldn't be more thrilled to carry on the tradition of providing brides with something a bit less traditional when looking for their wedding gown."
The name is changing slightly as Fork is dropping the "Little Rooster" half of the original name, and adding Bridal Atelier to the famously shortened moniker the boutique has come to be known for. "In order for us to continue offering certain luxury brands like Vera Wang, there were changes that were mandatory and we think the change will be positive" explains Fork. What is not changing is the spirit of artful fashion that makes Big Rock Bridal Atelier at home in the Short North. They look forward to participating in area events such as the upcoming Gallery Hop as a way to open their doors and let people get acquainted with the updated boutique.
Admist other designer lines like Jenny Packham and Anna Maier, Vera Wang will hang as the premier fashion line for Big Rock Bridal Atelier. The price point of gowns will start at $5000 leaving no questions that the discerning bride will find a luxurious selection of couture at this location. "My goal since I began in bridal was to offer something to every bride of exceptional quality and high standards. Big Rock Bridal Atelier is the epitome of bridal luxury in Columbus, and I am proud to offer such high fashion bridal right here locally for area brides." La Jeune Mariee Collection, which is Fork's original true love, will still offer gowns ranging from $1200-$7000.
