Tomorrow is the start to BRIDAL FASHION WEEK - YAY! Designers nationwide will be showcasing their new Fall 2016 Collection for all the world to see! And the ladies of La Jeune Mariee and Big Rock Bridal are throwing on their best pair of heels to take on The Big Apple!

Our owner Lindsay will be accompanied by Ashley and Jane, our LUXEredux Columbus Manager and head stylist at our Bridesmaids and Social Occasion boutique to help select the perfect gowns for your perfect day! We are so excited to select new gowns from Romona Keveza, Monique Lhuillier, Jim Hjelm designed by Hayley Paige, Jenny Packham, Amsale and MORE!

Big Rock's Moving!!

Guess what brides!

Big Rock Bridal, sister store of La Jeune Mariee, is moving! Currently located in the heart of the Short North Arts District of downtown Columbus, Ohio, Big Rock Bridal offers designer bridal gowns such as Vera Wang, Jenny Packham, Anna Maier, Lazaro, and Liancarlo, starting at $4000 and can exceed $15,000. Our new Big Rock store will be moving right next door to La Jeune Mariee Collection in downtown Columbus, off of East Main Street. We are SO excited to have our sister stores right next door!! What could be better than a bunch of designer wedding gowns just steps away from each other, talk about lots of options!

We are anticipating the build to be done near the end of June, but while the Big Rock store is under construction, we will still be taking appointments, however they will be next door at the La Jeune Mariee store. All the Big Rock bridal gowns will also be there for the time being until the new store is all set up so you won't be missing out on anything! We want to make sure that our brides receive the same wonderful experience at any of our stores, so you won't be disappointed. Call us today to make an appointment to find your dream dress! 

Flower Child: Bridal Trend Update for Spring/Summer 2016

By now you have probably noticed the bohemian trend going on over the last year or so, which has been extremely popular, especially with the younger crowd and is still continuing to grow. This trend is growing so quickly that with 1970's inspirations established in ready-to-wear, ethereal bohemian influences have begun to infiltrate the bridal market! So how does one incorporate that so lovable boho chic trend into a wedding dress for their big day?  With layers of sheer tulle, chiffon and organza which are adorned with floral appliqué and beaded floral patterns, of course! 

One of the beautiful luxury collections that we carry at Big Rock Bridal Atelier is Jenny Packham and we are swooning over her Spring 2016 Collection. Women's Wear Daily (wwd.com) commented that "Inspired by William Shakespeare's 'A Midsummer Night's Dream,' Jenny Packham's spring bridal collection was a fairy tale come to life."
